Starting from the era of martial law, Taiwanese women have been fighting for women's labor rights. Today's women's movement has grown from the grassroots, drawing knowledge and experience from various events. They have learned how to lobby and advocate, and even tried writing their own drafts. The reflections in old photographs reflect a glimpse of Taiwan's women's movement history. The people who once protested on the streets have gradually pushed society towards our ideal vision, albeit slowly. Looking back, we see the footprints left by our predecessors, who have made progress through arduous paths. This special exhibition highlights 23 gender issues. In addition to comparing old photographs with present-day scenes, the exhibition also captures the historical context, documenting the unwavering presence of the women's movement throughout its journey. |
